Search Engine Optimisation Site-1on40.com Review

I thought I would write this hub, as while searching the internet on ways to improve my website traffic (www.perfectgift4me.co.uk). I came across a website called 1on40.com which you can visit by clicking here. I also noticed you can submit as many websites as you wish as long as they all are connected to a different e-mail. I took advantage of this and also submitted my hubpages to them also.

Their opening statement pictured above, which caught my eye instantly. They claim to have your website listed 1st on 40 top search engines for free, including Google and Yahoo, all you have to do is fill out their easy submission form. So I signed up following their instructions, which include giving your name, website URL, 5 keywords which appear on your website and what type of customers you require as in sales, affilate sign ups or members to a social bookmarking site. I now have to wait and see if this actually works. It asks you to check back next week so I will update this page regulary as the weeks tick by with progress reports to see if it really works.

Message in my back office so far:

· Submission Underway
· No Warnings
· No Updates Required
· Submission on Time
· Submission Progressing

No Action Required from Web Site Owner. Please check back next week.

I have read a few reports on this website from various forums and review sites and apparently some people have even reached no 1 in Google in under 3 weeks. Fingers crossed then well I will report all my findings back as soon as I have more information.

As you can see from the image below I had a rather large spike in traffic yesterday I cant wait to log on to the above website again to see what the results will say.

Week 2

As promised here is my update on how I am getting on with my SEO optimisation review. I just logged into my account and to be honest there is nothing new to report as shown below:

· Submission Underway
· No Warnings
· No Updates Required
· Submission on Time
· Submission Progressing

No Action Required from Web Site Owner.

The only difference I have noticed is my traffic has slightly increased, but I'm not sure if this is from taking a more active part in the forums or if it is the effect of the website.

Below I have posted a new image of my traffic as last week I had a large spike in traffic and thought this was because of posting my hub pages profile to the SEO Optimisation site. As you will see from the image it was short lived unfortunately.

I will update this page again next week revealing if anything else has changed due to submitting my site to this SEO Optimisation website.

After logging into my account not moments ago there isn't much to report I am beginning to wonder if this is worth it or not but they still have 99 days left to deliver their promise below is the same message as the previous 2 weeks in my back office:

As you can see from the screenshot below I have started to see a steady increase of traffic to my hubpages account. might have something to do with 1on40 but can't be sure.

Due to my recent long absence from hubpages I never got round to updating my progress with 1 on 40.com but I must say it hasn't really mattered as I have never reached the top spot in any of the major search engines with any one of my websites. I thought this sounded a bit too good to be true from the offset, but at the time I thought, what have I got to lose anyway. I am still being met with the same message as above and it's been more like 240 days not 120 as promised.  I think it is fair to say that this has been a complete wast of time to say the least.  One thing I have learned from this experience is you shoul always trust your initial instinct. Well thats it folks.

Result: Doesn't do what it says on the tin.
